Our Customer Terms

1. Orders & Quotes

  • Any price estimates (“Quotes”) we provide are valid for seven days.
  • By placing an order, you accept our Terms. Once accepted and paid, orders are generally non-refundable except for issues covered by Australian Consumer Law.

2. Payments & Invoicing

  • We may request full or partial payment before beginning work.
  • Late payments can incur additional fees and may delay delivery or installation.

3. Delivery & Risk

  • Risk passes to you when your goods are delivered.
  • We retain title (ownership) of goods until your payment is fully received.

4. Returns & Refunds

  • We follow Australian Consumer Law, which means you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for any major defects.
  • Change of mind or misuse does not qualify for a refund.

5. Service Plans

  • We offer monthly service plans for ongoing support (minimum 12-month term).
  • Any additional onsite visits beyond your plan’s allowance are billed at our standard rate.

6. Warranties & Repairs

  • We honor consumer guarantees under Australian law.
  • Installation services come with a 12-month workmanship warranty.
  • Third-party product warranties are handled directly by the relevant manufacturer.

7. Liability Limits

  • We are not responsible for factors outside our control (e.g., shipping delays, incorrect info provided by you).
  • We do our best to resolve issues promptly and fairly.

8. Intellectual Property

  • We own or are licensed to use all intellectual property relating to our goods and services.
  • Unless agreed otherwise, any new work we create belongs to AutoNest.

9. Data & Privacy

  • We collect and store your data in line with our Privacy Policy, and may use third-party cloud services.
  • In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected customers promptly.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
  • Disputes are handled initially by discussion with us; if unresolved, they proceed in the court state in which you reside.
